Rugged and well padded for transporting a laptop. The zipper pocket just under the front flap is perfect for my S & W SW9VE.

I purchased this case and I found it to be a large disappointment. The computer slot is very tight requiring two hands to remove a 15 inch laptop. The main compartment is not that large and the curved cut of the case along with the flap, make for a smaller then desirable access. I have shipped mine back for a refund. I still like Blackhawk products, but this one falls way short.
